She is the leading light for Reliance Foundation, Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation and is a willful activist for the underprivileged youth. She spearheads projects for UNAIDS to prevent the spread of HIV and even helps in empowering physically handicapped individuals in the corporate sector. Recently she has started work in the direction of establishing Reliance University, which will provide world class education to youth so as to instill in them world class skills and knowledge.
At a lecture she gave at London School of Economic, she stressed on education, healthcare, harnessing and tapping emerging India’s many opportunities that lay hidden. She emphasize on transforming India into a global power by empowering youth through quality education and improving standard of life.
When a person sees such strong Indian figures like Mukesh and Nita Ambani, treading the path of national development, it definitely invokes a sense of pride and optimism. It is not unnatural to see those with resources to direct efforts in transforming social structure of India, but is awe inspiring when these efforts truly take form under the leadership of such inspiring and agreeable icons.
